carpal pad protectorsThese are brilliant. my dog injured his carpal pad on the dog walk as he surfs down it. He has also injured it skidding on the floor. these protectors prevent injury by providing a covering, made out of leather the quality is excellent and the Velcro fastening means they are a perfect fit. no more injuries which mean my dog can enjoy agility all year round and I'm not worrying about him being hurt.

Fantastic ProtectorsI got these protectors for my collie x lurcher after she sliced her stopper pad. When the stitches and bandages were removed I wanted something to stop her from opening up the wound again and these were great as it meant she could run about when she was allowed off lead again.
On another point, we took the protectors on holiday and they survived a fortnight of daily dunkings in the sea. I just rinsed them to get the sand and salt out and left them to dry overnight.

just bought another pairThese have made a huge difference for our dog - she was forever cutting her stoppers and it meant weeks out from our agility (never win but it's great fun).
No problems since we got these - and I am so worried we might lose one that i have just bought another pair to keep in reserve.
Please think about other colours.she wears a red tabard and it would be brill to have stopper protectors to match

Leather stopper padsAfter my whippet sliced his stopper pad chasing a ball at the park he had to have it stitched. It cost a fortune at the vets and after 3 weeks healing and being told that he was ok for exercise it opened back up so I decided to look for some sort of protection. I was delighted to find these pads and was very pleased with the price, protection and service from Country Mun. It didn't take long for him to get used to wearing them and he wears them every walk- anyone who owns a whippet will know that they are very accident prone!As he also does agility they will offer good protection too. Would recommend to anyone.

Top classI saw a dog wearing these at an agility event so decided to try them - one of our rescue lurchers used to regularly tear one of her pads. They are excellent - just wish i had known about them earlier. (Arrived next day so thanks for the fast service too)

Great protectorsMy weimaraner almost sliced his stopper pad right off so after a prolonged healing time I wanted to find something
to prevent it happening again. These protectors are excellent and so light, beautiful leather and he doesn't mind having
them on at all.
He doesn't do agility or flyball but these will protect him so well. Recommend them to anyone needing that protection

Wouldn't be without themA friend told me about these after our lurcher sliced one of her stopper pads.
Easy to use and dog doesn't seem to mind them - although when I first put them on, she did try to pull them off. Best to put them on just as you are going out so dog is more interested in walk.
She stands happily now for them to be put on because she knows she must be going for a run :)Posted on

Great ProductHave used the leather protectors every day for over two years now. Our Collie cross regards them as normal walking gear. Previously she had cut her stopper pads on flints here in the Chiltern Hills which cost us £400 in vets bills in one year, this compares with 2 pairs a year at a cost of approximately £22. We are alway being asked about them and tell people where to get them.

Fantastic ItemMy Dutch Shepherd constantly cut her stopper pads open whilst on walks over here in Spain whilst running around. We would stop her walks until they healed, and then it happened again and again ... so we bought these stopper pad protectors and they have been the best thing we ever did! No more cuts to the stopper pads, no more keeping her in! Highly recommended! Must buy a spare pair!
NOTE FROM COUNTRY MUN - thank you for your review. A lot of people think the protectors are just for agility or racing but they are good for any dog that walks or runs on rough terrain (or dogs who find it hard to stop on hard ground!)

Excellent productExcellent protector have been using the leather ones for about 2 years now, before using these my collie would tear chunks out of his stop pads on agility contacts then would be out till they had healed up these pads stopped him tearing his stop pads straight away.
